A question to Sikhs & the Sikh Federation UK: If this blade is "ceremonial", then why is it not more symbolic such that it CANNOT be unsheathed? Why are Sikhs allowed to carry blades that can be unsheathed and, worse still, sharp enough to cut or kill, as was the case in this incident?
